The 25 Bestselling Cars, Trucks, and SUVs of 2023 (So Far)
As the industry continues to recover from supply-chain issues, many models are way up through the first half of U.S. auto sales.

We're already tracking a few different storylines as we collect U.S. auto sales numbers through the first half of 2023. And the narrative arcs are looking up: the first two quarters of the year posted strong numbers, in large regard thanks to increasing inventory. Many automakers are finally able to produce more cars to keep up with demand as supply-chain issues continue to ease. It's not all rosy, as Stellantis and Toyota aren't keeping up with last year's pace, but other major players—namely Ford, GM, and Honda—were all up by double-digit percentages compared with 2022. Here we've ranked the 25 bestselling models by nameplate. Interestingly, it's not just SUVs and trucks that are posting big sales increases; even many sedans are up and make up a significant chunk of the list. We'll continue to update this list quarterly as sales reports are released.
