Netflix is set to premiere a new thriller, Wall to Wall (84 Jegopmiteo), on July 18. The film, whose Korean title, 84 Jegopmiteo, translates to 84 Square Meter, delves into the chilling transformation of a dream home into a living nightmare.

Director Kim Tae-joon, known for his work on Unlocked, returns with his second thriller, aiming to capture the relatable horrors found in everyday life. The film utilizes a familiar setting, the common 84-square-meter Korean apartment, nd a universally understood plight of untraceable noises between floors, promising a suspenseful narrative filled with unpredictable twists.

Wall to Wall follows Woo-sung (Kang Ha-neul), a man who finally achieves his dream of apartment ownership. However, his new home quickly becomes a source of financial ruin and unsettling, mysterious noises emanating from his neighbors. Much of the film evokes the Fantasia Fest FilmThe Tenants, directed by Yoon Eun-kyoung.

The teaser trailer introduces Woo-sung’s initial joy as a homeowner, which is swiftly replaced by distress as strange sounds plague his apartment each night. The trailer also offers a glimpse of his neighbors: Eun-hwa, the resident representative with a cynical demeanor, and Jin-ho, a suspicious upstairs neighbor also investigating the noise. The escalating tension over the inter-floor disturbances hints at the unfolding mystery within the apartment complex.

• Kang Ha Neul as Woo-sung: The financially burdened homeowner. Accused by his neighbors of being the source of the noise, he embarks on a quest to find the true origin and clear his name.
• Yeom Hye Ran as Eun-hwa: The resident representative dedicated to maintaining peace. A still image shows Eun-hwa in a luxurious penthouse discussing the issue with Woo-sung, hinting at her approach to the apartment’s problems.
