Netflix Gets ‘Lovestuck’ with New K-Drama Rom-Com Starring Jung Hae-in and Ha-young

Netflix is gearing up to deliver a new K-Drama romance with Lovestuck, an original series currently in production. While webtoon adaptations have been strong on the platform, the Korean series in 2025 have stared to embrace more original stories.

Lovestuck promises a charmingly quirky take on amnesia, mistaken identity, and small-town charm. When a brilliant prosecutor, Go Eun-sae (Ha-young), loses her memory after an accident during a crime syndicate investigation, she wakes up in a rural clinic. Now with amnesia, she finds herself living with Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a suspicious man who claims he’s her long-lost love and takes her in. But is he?

Set against the backdrop of a quaint village brimming with traditional taffy shops. Their unexpected cohabitation in this unique countryside setting sets the stage for a love story that’s described as quirky, sweet, and irresistibly “sticky.”

Lovestuck’s cast and creatives should excite.

Lovestuck marks a highly anticipated reunion for director Kim Jang-han, known for his work on Do You Like Brahms? and Netflix’s hit My Demon starring Song Kang (Sweet Home), and writer Mo Ji-hye, known for You Raise Me Up. This creative duo is collaborating again after four years, promising a compelling narrative and visual style.

K-drama leading man turned action antagonist in last year’s I, The Executioner, Jung Hae-in, steps into Lovestuck as its male lead. The rom-com veteran known for his heartwarming roles in Something in the Rain and One Spring Night and the upcoming Mom’s Friend’s Son, takes on the role of Jang Tae-ha.

Tae-ha is a former youth boxing champion who, after a stint in gang life, is now seeking redemption as a small-town boxing coach. His final mission for the gang leads him to a fateful encounter with Eun-sae, his forgotten first love, prompting him to spin a protective lie that could alter both their futures.

Making her rom-com lead debut, Ha-young, recognized for her work in Netflix’s The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, starring alongside Ju Ji-hoon, plays Go Eun-sae. As Eun-sae navigates her new reality, slowly drawn to Tae-ha’s warmth despite her lost memories, Ha-young is set to showcase the charm and vulnerability of a woman rediscovering herself amidst an unexpected romance.

Lovestuck will be available exclusively on Netflix.
