The recently unveiled teaser poster offers a compelling glimpse into the series’ core conflict, showing Lee Do and Moon Baek gazing intently at a box filled with unidentified firearms. Their contrasting expressions hint at the complex motivations behind their choices to wield a gun, which you can see below.

Who is directing and writing Trigger?

The series is both written and directed by Kwon Oh-Seung, who gained significant acclaim at the Fantasia International Film Festival for his film Midnight, which stars Wi Ha-joon (Squid Games, Gyeongsong Creature). His expertise in crafting suspenseful and thought-provoking stories is set to deliver a unique perspective on the genre.

In a Netflix newsroom post, Kwon Oh-Seung shared his take on the new K-Drama series. “It is a story about a situation that we all have imagined at least once,” says director Kwon Oh-seung. “This series explores guns from a different perspective, putting them at the center of the story.”
