Soft carpet, your hair doesn't fall off. The color is as shown in the store's photos. In the photo I 've taken it seems a little darker but it really isn't. I ordered the lilac and, I insist, the color is as the manufacturer shows. It's pretty thin, with less hair, than some more touchy ones I 've bought from a local store, however, I have to say that these have cost me half and give a very good picture. Very satisfied with the purchase.
